When the Ford Motor Company introduced the Mercury mark in 1938, it did so with the intention of providing the market an entry-level luxury car. Initially lauded for its performance, the brand’s popularity fluctuated greatly throughout the years. Not surprising, many Mercury models were built upon Ford platforms. Ultimately falling out of favor, the Mercury moniker was discontinued in 2011, with the parent company choosing to focus the Ford and Lincoln brands.
There are a variety of used Mercury vehicles for sale one might find at auction, including the Grand Marq, Milan, Mariner, Mountainee, Montego LU, Sable Prem, Marauder, Mystique L, Cougar, Villager, and Monterey. Mercury produced each of these vehicles at some point after 1999.
