One of Japan’s oldest vehicle manufacturers, Nissan has produced vehicles since 1933, though not under the same brand. Prior to 1983, the Datsun name was the one known in Japan and in most markets around the world. Today, 30 years after phasing out the Datsun brand completely, Nissan has revived it for emerging markets and has become the top brand sold in several companies, including China, Russia, and Mexico. Additionally, produces luxury vehicles under its Infiniti brand.
Nissan’s lineup includes cars — Versa, Sentra, Cube, Altima, Maxima, and Leaf. Nissan also makes three sports cars — 370Z, GT-R, and Rogue; several crossover and SUV models — Xterra, Murano, Pathfinder, and Armada; minivans — Quest and Passenger; and trucks — Frontier and Titan.
