Originally founded in 1945, Swedish automobile manufacturer Saab had a tumultuous journey. Ultimately, General Motors took full ownership of the marque but then sold it to Dutch automobile manufacturer Spyker Cars N.V. in 2010. Since that time, the Saab brand experienced a tumultuous life with one production shutdown and ultimately a shuttering for good in 2014, due to a spiraling into bankruptcy that proved too difficult to recover from effectively.
